I’m Marco, a professionally certified coach living in Brighton on the English south coast.
After university, travelling and running my family restaurant I changed path and focused on my freelance photography business.
Through this, for over 20 years I’ve worked for non government organisations, corporate social responsibility partners and charities in the poorest slums of Africa, the remotest villages in the Himalayas and gang ridden favelas in South America. I juggled this with working for the biggest corporations in the world capturing images of breakthroughs in medicine in laboratories in Shanghai and Washington DC to editorial portraits for national and international press and media.
The human stories were different, but my approach was the same. My photographs, films and workshops were built on empowering my subjects to tell their story from a different angle and in a different light, the camera was my tool of choice.
But it wasn’t enough. Imposter syndrome, entrenched in perfectionism, loss of direction, dissatisfaction, feeling stuck, depleted energy but believing there is more…much more. Something had to shift.
Being coached was the breakthrough I needed to reconnect with my own creativity, resourcefulness and to find meaningful answers to the challenges I face.
The results were transformational and I wanted to do the same for others.
Coaching for me felt like the natural step to use my blend of skills and life experience. So I enrolled with the Co-Active training institute, one of the most highly regarded and rigorous coaching courses in the world.
In coaching my philosophy is the same, just the tools have changed. I am passionate about unlocking true potential and purpose, to navigate people to find their own answers for a more compelling future, a new way of being, through an alliance we build on trust.
